📉 Budget Cuts Coming in 2024-25
Highline must make budget cuts of $8 million for next school year. We face increasing costs for labor, utilities, insurance and other basic expenses. At the same time, enrollment continues to decline, impacting our state funding. We are at the end of our federal COVID-relief dollars, aka ESSER funds, which provided a budget cushion for several years.
🌟 Nominate a Gold Star!
Do you work with someone who has made a significant impact on students and schools? Now is your chance to nominate them for a 2024 Gold Star Award! Each year, the Highline Schools Foundation seeks nominations from the Highline community for the annual Gold Star Awards. These awards serve as an opportunity to honor and celebrate those in our Highline schools and community who inspire us, lead us and live the Highline Promise every day.
