[MUSIC PLAYING] Hello, Highline! I'm coming to you today from Seahurst Elementary, and I couldn't be happier to announce that all students in our IAC and ILC programs, along with students in grades pre-K through 5 whose families opted for them to return to in-person learning and hybrid, are back. We couldn't be happier.

I want to take a moment to thank our families, who have trusted us with their children's safety and are partnering with us to make this return such a good one. And of course, I have to thank our incredible Highline staff, from our bus drivers and nutrition services workers to our front-office staff, teachers, principals, parent educators. Everybody has worked so hard to make our students return to their school buildings a safe and happy one. Thank you.

We are now busy preparing for our middle and high school students who are choosing to return in hybrid to do so as well. And the date for that is April 19, right after spring break. And we are in the process of finalizing details, and we'll be sharing those details with everyone as we have them. But just know that we are just as excited to welcome our older students back to school as we have been to welcome our younger ones.

And so with that, I say thank you, and I remind us that we are on a path forward. And what a happy path it is. Thank you so much, Highline, for staying the course, for continuing to support one another, and for continuing to make sure that even in the hardest of times, we come together and work together to make sure that every student in Highline Public Schools is known by name, strength, and need, and graduates prepared for the future they choose.

Stay safe, stay strong, stay healthy.
