Jump Start is a pre-kindergarten, transitional program conducted in August for children preparing to enter Kindergarten in September. If your child is registered for kindergarten, they are automatically enrolled in Jump Start. There is no charge for this program. The focus is on familiarizing your child with the school environment, the kindergarten teachers, and the daily schedule. Children will be involved in typical kindergarten classroom activities, tour the school campus, and experience outdoor play just like they will at recess. This fun, positive experience helps our youngest students become familiar with school before all of the older students arrive. It makes the start of the school year easier and less stressful for parents and children.
Jump Start is a three-hour daily program that will run from 8:45 am - 11:45 am Monday – Friday. Breakfast will be served during the first 20 minutes.
The Parent Meeting will be held on Monday August 16th at 6:00 pm via Zoom. Parents are encouraged to attend the meeting. At the meeting you will learn about kindergarten and how you can support your child’s learning.
